Atletico beats competitors for French international
Atletico Madrid and Monaco have reach an agreement for the transfer of Thomas Lemar to La Liga. Lemar is expected to pass his medicals and after that to sign his contract with Atletico.
The expected fee is around€70m and€80m. The contract of the French international will be for five years. Lemar made an impression after helping Monaco reach the UEFA Champions League semi-finals.
Lemar spent 3 years in Monaco after joining from Caen back in 2015. He made 90 Ligue 1 appearances and won the French title in the 2016/17 season which highered his price. He scored 16 goals in Ligue 1 with the Monégasques.
