We took a few days away last week to celebrate @skiesandsports birthday, so we went to our favourite place in the Lakes, what we didn't expect was MORE SNOW! It was so cold outside so he thought he would make doughnuts and stay all warm and cozy inside instead! Taking inspiration from the amazing @gringalicious and her recipe here : https://steemit.com/photography/@gringalicious/chocolate-dipped-frosting-filled-doughnuts-food-photo-shoot - he set up about making some! We didn't have any chocolate so we improvised with icing sugar glaze and some lucky charms he had too! They tasted amazing, and for his first go at making doughnuts they definitely were a success! I just need to remember to take photographs on my actual camera next time!!

Oh my goodness, these look SO good. I'm pretty much carb free so they look even better to me! Amazing glaze by the way they look 'professional' if a doughnut can look professional? ;) The cereal topping made me laugh.
Yes I am carb free too so I had to make it a cheat day when he made these! They totally do look so good don't they, will pass the message one! haha Lucky charms are always a good idea!
