One of the best things about traveling around the world is testing new foods and beverages. I'm always determined to try it all (okey almost all :D ). So I ate fried grasshoppers, skinned frogs, dried shark and many others "specialities". ;)

I really fell in love with some Caribbean dishes from many country of this region. However, I´m sorry that I have to say that the worst food I've ever had was in Cuba!

The best thing about this hamburger was the view of the architectural beauty in the background.
(Btw. It is Gran Teatro de La Habana, home to the Cuban National Ballet. Its facilities include theatres, a concert hall, gallery as well.)

Let´s have some "pizza parody" !
After all day strolling the streets we were so hungry and pizza seemed to be a good idea. But not in Cuba! It was awful, but my mom always told me to never waste my food so I put off all of the supposed "salami" and ate it.
Maybe you are wondering what are the green things... well, these are cucumber peels - a cool decoration huh?:D

And finally Main course - street meal in box.
It consisted of rice, beans, fried chicken and banana chips. It was not so bad BUT the main problem was how you want to eat it? So my boyfriend, smart European boy, made a spoon from the paper box for me ;)

Not to be only complaining though, I must say the beer was extremely good and cold ;)
But its not Cuban beer it´s Dutch I think haha.

To be honest, we are budget travelers, we stayed in Casa Particular and Airbnb, we wanted to enjoy real Cuba and this the experience we got.

Ahoj česko-slovenská steemit crew! Vidím, že nás tu je stále viac a viac, čo ma teší :)
Takže len stručne k môjmu postu, kde som opisovala skúsenosti s jedlom z Kuby, aby som to zhrnula na Kube si dajte radšej pivo ako pizzu :) A pamätáte si ako nám rodičia často hovorili, že čakali radu na pomaranče a iné veci? Tak aj my sme sa vrátili v čase a pekne sme si vystáli frontu na bagety, mlieko sme po meste zháňali 2 dni ;)
