How Does Your Garden Grow?
Mid Summer update on my table top garden.
Coming soon: Sweet Chocolate Pepper!
This is a first for me, I've never eaten one, or even used on for cooking.
Grape Tomatos
Basil Sweet Chocolate, I've already used this a bit, nice, sweet basil taste. Try it for a change.
Greek Oregano, getting a big work out, lots of this used for cooking.
The Buttercrisp is really coming in now.
Behind, barely visible, is the Red Leaf. Very good, but it's past it's time, now. Pull it out, cuz, its gone to seed. The next bunch is already planted and it will be ready in 10 days.
This is the second year (hmmm, third?) now that I have done the table top for herbs. A few reasons. One, the older in ground herb garden is now over taken by my tiny Raspberry bush. Now, the size of a small VW.
Are you growing your own food? Herbs? Fruit? Let me know what you are up to!!!

To the animals and birds around me
to put more plants in than I take out
And be a good steward for the world around me!

Yum! I want that chocolate pepper on my salad tonight! I've never even heard of such a thing!
Here's some Lensbaby lettuce to go with it. ;)
The focus makes it appear that the Lensbaby lettuce is moving! It's coming to get us! 😱
Lensbaby lettuce. Ha! :)
Thanks @thekittygirl for presenting this for me, on @pypt #pypt
I was in the middle of something for my mom today and couldnt get online.
Hopefully, the Sweet Chocolate is ready. Looks like Sunday I am making a batch of Stuffed Peppers. That may be the maiden voyage of Sweet Chocolate in the cooking department for me!
@bluefinstudios wow looks like your veggies are coming up quite nicely. Heard on #pypt.. hope to see you next week

What beautiful photos and a nice garden as well.

thanks, @adsup
I do love fresh herbs for cooking.
This all looks soooooo tasty!
This is a wonderful garden! I confess I didn't even pull the weeds out of mine in the spring this year, I just gave up on it before beginning. Next year, perhaps I'll get my tower garden going. Aeroponic set up works really well if I can find the right spot to put it. With the kids, sometimes I just have to say, "Not this year," and be okay taking the pressure off myself. But I'm always impressed when I see people like you growing such yummy food!
I guess I have raspberries, Saskatoon berries, and thimble berries growing themselves... and I've got tons of wild greens (read: dandelions) to enjoy. ;)
This post was a delightful addition to the PYPT lineup this week, as your photos are so wonderful! It was exciting to see the changes in the plants, too from the last time you spoke of them. Your Sweet Chocolate Pepper has all of us intrigued! 😃
