Education is one of our primary focuses: we want to inspire everyone to think outside the box and open themselves to the infinite possibilities that exist for ALL aspects of life, and we encourage free thinkers to CHOOSE a full spectrum life of thrival that adds value for all beings and our Earth!
To that end, we want to share some of our projects with you!
We have been hard at work behind the scenes in service to the @gardenofeden's community mission for almost a decade! We have hundreds of thousands of photos, thousands of videos, articles, graphics, and designs, and multiple websites that illuminate sustainable, honorable, responsible options that support a better world for all creatures and our living planet, and we look forward to continuing to share them here on the blockchain.
We have been visual artists for years with combined decades of experience, and Steemit productions are one of our latest masteries! We offer our consulting services to help one and all improve their own success on this platform - stay tuned for an upcoming post with more info.
Now, to get to today's post - we're giving you a taste of our sustainable food reality!
It's another extraordinary day in the Garden of Eden, and we're having another extraordinary feast!
Between our homeless outreach, feeding the firemen, providing groceries for single mothers, and hosting events & volunteers at our property, we feed 40,000 free meals a year, all prepared to the highest degrees of sustainability in our outdoor kitchen over rocket stoves built out of dirt by hand. We burn "trash" fence panels donated to us by a friend who has a fencing company and would otherwise have to pay to dispose of them in the landfill where they would pollute the Earth.
Today, we had a delicious tomato lentil soup with a beautiful green salad with hummus and scrambled eggs fresh from our chickens.
This lovely salad has so many colors, so you know it's full of vitamins and minerals! Plants are incredibly powerful for supporting health in the human body.
We recycled what little bit of mushroom lentil soup we had leftover from yesterday to create a brand new tomato soup for tonight's epic feast!
We also had a colorful bowl of sauteed bell peppers to get vitamin A, vitamin C, B vitamins, molybdenum, vitamin E, fiber, B2, and potassium.
Because we love them so much, we also made mushrooms and onions again.
Plus we made a big skillet of fried potatoes as well! We eat A LOT of potatoes around here!
Food is important and we hope to inspire people to really take time to eat, enjoy it, and share it with someone you love. We also hope to inspire more and more sustainable practices in regards to food.
