Live Truth Productions Presents "Sustainable Feasting in the Garden of Eden"
Live Truth Productions is a multimedia publishing house & more from the Garden of Eden sustainable ecovillage!
Education is one of our primary focuses: we want to inspire everyone to think outside the box and open themselves to the infinite possibilities that exist for ALL aspects of life, and we encourage free thinkers to CHOOSE a full spectrum life of thrival that adds value for all beings and our Earth!
To that end, we want to share some of our projects with you!
We have been hard at work behind the scenes in service to the @gardenofeden's community mission for almost a decade! We have hundreds of thousands of photos, thousands of videos, articles, graphics, and designs, and multiple websites that illuminate sustainable, honorable, responsible options that support a better world for all creatures and our living planet, and we look forward to continuing to share them here on the blockchain.
We have been visual artists for years with combined decades of experience, and Steemit productions are one of our latest masteries! We offer our consulting services to help one and all improve their own success on this platform - stay tuned for an upcoming post with more info.
Now, to get to today's post - we're sharing a taste of our sustainable food reality!
It's another marvelous day at the Garden of Eden, and it is time for another marvelous feast!
Food is an important aspect of life. The foods you put in your body become the building blocks of your body - it is a very intimate communion. We respect this deeply, and we're happy to share our passion for it through growing, harvesting, cooking, and photographing food & feeding people!
It is a joy to share our high vibe food with our extended community. There's more than enough of everything!
Today we had Texas cut french fries with a fresh garden salad and a wonderful white bean soup.
Our soup was a delicious combination of white beans, sweet potatoes, cabbage, onion, garlic, celery, and kale. MMMMmmmmm!! The children especially love soup, and it's an easy way to get them to eat their nutrients.
And of course we cooked it over the open flame of our handbuilt rocket stove, using "trash" wood as fuel rather than electricity or natural gas...neither of which support our living planet.
Look at all that goodness! This is a simple but satisfying soup, full of fresh herbs from the garden as well.
We had a crisp, bright salad to go with the hearty soup, a classic pairing! Today's salad featured mixed greens including wildcrafted lamb's quarter, raw onions (super antimicrobial action!!), yellow tomatoes, and a lovely chive bundle straight from the land.
We dressed it with a garlicky vinegrette with olive oil and homemade pear vinegar.
Food is important and we hope to inspire people to really take time to eat, enjoy it, and share it with someone you love. We also hope to inspire more and more sustainable practices in regards to food.
If you would like to know more about our unique and super sustainable connection to our food cycle, please check out our previous post here.
