Lunch at work, an everyday luxury
Another day, another pleasant surprise at work. One of the participants decided to treat her classmates and us, the teachers, to a home-made falafel. She came to school with flat bread, vegetables and falafel paste that she prepared at home the night before. Then she fried falafel in oil on the stove in our small school kitchen at the lunch break. Here you can see the beautiful result of her efforts – she cooked and served everything herself!
Isn’t it amazing to be treated to a home-made lunch by one’s students? One of the many reasons to love this job. ;)
@oleg326756 this post made me the old days
I suddenly miss my students moms :D
hahaha
anyway, I love falafel!!!!
As university students in Lund a decade ago we lived on falafel as the cheapest (and probably the healthiest) fast food available to us, on our meagre student budgets. I’ve loved it ever since! :)
home-made always best @oleg326756 also look tasty
Haha, loved the pic! Thank you!! :D
Woa, that looks fancy actually. If there is food at my work its served from disposable containers onto paper plates.
Well, that’s what we usually do too. :) But now and then a grateful student would surprise us with a small feast like this. Happiness is made up of small everyday things.
