✅ 30 days healthy food challenge / NO sugar / NO dairy products / NO wheat / NO meat or fish 🌿 #1steemCreated with Sketch.

in #food7 years ago (edited)

I've decided to full vegan for one month. I did it last month. I just wanted to check how it will influence my body, my mind and my whole life.
Is it worth it?
Totally. I have found that there is many many food products that you can eat without sugar, dairy, regular wheat, meat or fish.
You know, maybe it was easier to me, because I don't eat meat for 5 years. But I was really bad at making and prepare my own dishes.

1st day dinner 🌿 :
Falafel + hummus + vegetables.

✅ Conclusion :

I wanted to check if it's easy to go to local restaurant and told waiter what I 'cannot' eat and check if they have it.
Vuolia, they had it. But when I was telling waiter what I don't eat I felt like from that funny joke :
🌿 'umm, what you will suggest us to order? We are vegans.
umm, taxi?' 🌿

But falafel, hummus and vegetables were really amazing thing combined. I filled my stomach so full that I couldn't eat that day more.😃

Okay, guys. Tell me if you are interested in my vegan food challenge. Upvote and resteem. If you are interested I will keep posting my progress.

Thanks,
Narovski here!

Yeah that is interesting. To be vegan seems to be a kind of fashion at the moment. If you live in a sunny place and have tons of fruits and veg for low price it really makes sense. However in northern Europe don't grow bananas, kiwis and mangos. You also feel more a desire to warm up your body with cheese or something hot. Look into organic, vegan shops, there is so much processed food and imported stuff. What than about you co2 footprint and local ambitions?
But one day all people will eat vegan. We are in a kind of transition time, I think. Tell us more about your experience. Maybe you will carry on. Good luck.

Hey, @Johano! Long time didn't heard something from you :)
Talking about this topic, yes. You're right. It's easier if you live in a sunny place. Unfortunately, my country
Lithuania is not an exotic warm land. So it's easier to do vegan diet when it's summer time. That's why I did it :)
Alright, I will post more about it. I thought no one is interested :)
Thank you!

Those fatafel look delicious. I love making my own meals. I love the control and accountability it gives me.
