The Desert Feast
Last evening me and hubby stepped out for dinner. We returned from our Japan trip day before and since then I have been having major food cravings. I am a very fussy eater and as much as I enjoy travelling, I do not enjoy food of other places much. I always feel food deprived on my travels.
After returning, I have been hogging on home meals, and last evening wanted to try some different local cuisine. We went to China Bistro, it's asian cuisine and it's got the indian touch so I enjoy it. After the meals, we wanted to have a desert and the chef recommended one of their signature desert dish called FU. To be honest, only the dish looked fancy, taste wise it was just ok. It was a Pennacota with Vanilla icecream and sprinkled with coffee powder, with some fresh fruits on side.
The real show was in the presentation with liquid nitrogen, which gave out the smoke and made it look fancy. We als had our friends and their son, who was in awe of the whole presentation.
