Last Evening Beach Barbecue Party with Friends🍗 🍤🍢
Some of us friends decided to do a Barbecue by the beach side last evening, these days the climate is just perfect for outdoor gatherings and here in Muscat you will find during these months most of the people at the beach side gathering up and doing barbecue parties. It is a lot of fun.
We brought all the marinated stuff from home and then at the beach side did the barbecue. My husband and one other friend are the champions in this activity. On the Menu we had Fish Chermoula, Chicken Tikka, Lamb Chops, Grilled prawns and some Salads, Breads, Rice to go along with it and then winding up with a Cake feast. Sounds Yummy right 😍, yes absolutely it was. A grand feast, specially the beach side setting was awesome and complimenting the food in the perfect manner.
We all gathered at 7 P.M. and by the time we finished it was 11 P.M. Temperature was just perfect around 20 degrees, but It was a little windy so we had to carry light cardigans to be cozy and then the Barbecue heat was also doing it's work. A fun filled evening with friends. Now today I am feeling just very lazy to do anything...hehehe.

It's time for the chicken and lamb chops to get cooked up. The first lot always takes time and you can lose all your patience since the sight of ir makes you feel so very hungry.
And then it's time for fish and prawns
Good food in a good place makes it a perfect evening. All of us are enjoying the feast.

The food did so much magic that for the next 2 days I was only lazying around and today back to some activity.....hehehe
this tradition is interntational I suppose;)
in Russia such rest is the most popular in warm seasons, every weekend - marinated meat fried in the open fire + vodka or beer;)
but the food isn't the main here - the atmosphere and family nearby mean much more;)
That's true it's the same here, it's not much about the food but the ambiance and the company is more important.
