Evening at the Dhaba

This was last week when I was in Lonavala, which is a small town 2 hours away from Mumbai. It was a super hectic day attending to the jobs of our new house construction in that place. After completing all the work, me and hubby decided to settle down for a cozy dinner. On this road there are many restaurants and you get wide variety of foods here. These are all small road side eateries which are called Dhaba. 2 decades back these Dhaba's had a very different meaning, they would serve economical food and they were meant mostly for the truck drivers passing by. But now the whole concept of Dhaba's has changed, they have become fancy and expensive and quite an attraction.

We were very tired, so we settled for one of them which was along the way to the place where we were staying. This particular place has a village style set up. As I mentioned before they are all now fancy to attract crowd.

The seating is also some part of it in traditional style, like how you would find in a village.

There is a live singing performance also by some artist. They normally sing some folk songs.

I was so tired that I did not even remember to click any food pictures, but when we were almost half way through our meals, hubby asked me, today you are not taking any pictures...haha, it was actually in a fun way that he asked, because every time I am clicking pictures. So then I clicked one with whatever was remaining in my plate :-)

Hubby is enjoying his meal and his drink as well.

After this the only thing I could think was of my bed. I wanted to crash instantly. As soon as I reached my room, in 10 minutes I was on my bed ready to sleep.
