Before the start of Anarchapulco we made our way to Zocalo to a baking supply store to purchase things for making cannabis edibles to sell. While there I found a few ingredients I've not been able to locate elsewhere, such as cream of tartar. Before the end of the day I made some authentic snickerdoodles but it's been more than a week since I actually made them because I've been too busy to post!

I'm honestly still too busy so today's post is just a series of photos from my adventures making those cookies, which were promptly eaten by my friends.

For anyone wondering, cream of tartar is a leavening agent similar to baking powder that's actually a by product of brewing wine. It yields for a different texture in baked goods and is actually often essential when called for in a recipe, as I've found in the last few years attempting to substitute it out because I couldn't find it.

This recipe is very similar to the one I used.
