A wonderful place near Plaza de Mayor is Mercado de San Miguel a farmers market in the heart of Madrid. I love farmers market's for their variety of food and drink offerings.

These little sandwiches are awesome
Crab with Caviar, Iberico with Gamba, Artichoke with Shrimp
After eating too much a walk in the Parque de Madrid is recommended :)
It is a beautiful Park
And finish the day visiting one of the many museums
Madrid is a fantastic city in terms of food and tourist attractions. They have many museums, parks and great foodie spots. You will find impressive old architecture and have a vibrant nightlife. While many like Barcelona better than Madrid, I love both cities.

knozaki2015 when did you take these foto? Seems to be a winter in Madrid. I live in Valencia (souther) and we still have summer and green nature here.

one place where i have been :D we stayed in a place near puerto del sol. each day we were having lunch in Mercado de San Miguel LOL. maybe i should publish the photos I took in Madrid :) 3 hours inside the King's Palace argh
