FlaminGirl's recipes! #65 - Delicious banana and peanut ice cream [vegan recipe]
For today I bring you a rich recipe, it is an ice cream, but in a healthy version, this vegan ice cream is very practical to make, the traditional ice cream is born from dairy mixtures from cows, as we all know today cow's milk is not suitable for human consumption, and trigger a lot of diseases making us suffer, but this ice cream is very healthy its base is peanut butter and bananas,
Despite the most skeptical, many think that you can not prepare ice cream without milk, the basis of any ice cream, we will demonstrate with this simple recipe how you can prepare an ice cream without milk and with very healthy ingredients.
DELICIOUS BANANA AND PEANUT ICE CREAM
My secrets INGREDIENTS
♡ 2 large, ripe bananas
♡ 20 ml Natural peanut butter, unsweetened and unsalted
PREPARATION
Cooking time: 0min
Total: 10min
To make this recipe is essential that the bananas are well ripe since they offer much creaminess to the mixture that we will prepare, an indicator that the banana is well ripe is that it has many black spots in its shell.
After cutting the ripe bananas well, put them to freeze in an airtight bag for at least 2 hours, after the estimated time, place the banana in the food processor or blender, start processing until you get a creamy mixture.
To our creamy banana mixture, we will incorporate the 20ml of peanut butter and we will continue processing until uniting both ingredients well. I have put in a minimum of 20ml of peanut butter, but you can actually add as much as
you want as long as it doesn't exceed the amount of banana.
This ice cream has the particularity of being instant but paying tribute to the word ice cream, I prefer to reserve in a container and refrigerate again for at least 30 minutes or even 1-hour maximum.
This rich vegan ice cream can be served by adding chocolate, dried fruit, dried seeds such as hazelnut or almond, grated coconut, syrups or whatever you want to add, it's just perfect. And it shows that vegans can have the whim of eating delicious ice cream without envying a dairy-based ice cream.
I let you try this recipe and tell me what you think! ;)
