This year has been spectacular for the produce! Sincerely, I don't remember when I had so much of it on my hands, that I didn't even know what to do with it 🌿 🍅 🍆

Basically, I've had a lot of tomatoes, pomodorini, red peppers and aubergines, that I've been using to prepare traditional Italian dishes on a daily basis. But too much is too much, so I've used a lot of it to make tomato sauce, which I just jarred, and put in the fridge to gobble with pasta in the wintertime 🍝

But it keeps on coming, so now I have to step up my efforts, and find new ways to process it! So today I'm making smooth tomato/red pepper sauce with a bit of peperoncino, plenty of olive oil and sweet basil 💪
