PLUM AND CARROT CAKES

Greetings Community Steemit, today I bring a rich recipe very tasty and healthy, as well as easy to prepare, ideal for children's snacks and for the whole family: Plum and Carrot Cakes.


Benefits of plum consumption.

Plums are very rich in vitamins, which include vitamin E, with a great antioxidant power; Vitamin A and vitamin C.



It has a number of minerals, including potassium, calcium, iron and magnesium, plums help improve depressive states, in addition to anemia.

They provide a lot of energy and fiber, is highly recommended in slimming diets, not only for their vitamins, minerals and fiber, but for their properties clearly depurative. Some experts recommend eating plums in fasting, so that you can benefit from absolutely all its properties and benefits.

Plum Properties

Ingredients:


  • 2 cups of wholemeal flour.
  • Four eggs.
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder.
  • 1 cup almond or skim milk.
  • 1 cup sweetener (preferably).
  • 2 cups of carrot and processed plum.
  • 1/2 Cup of Chia.
  • 1 teaspoon almond essence.

Step by step:


1.- Mix all dry ingredients (flour, sweetener, baking powder and chia)



2.- Add eggs, milk, fruit and almond essence. Stir until a homogeneous mixture is left.





3.- Add the mixture into the molds and cook in the oven at 220 degrees C for approximately 30-40 minutes (depending on the size of the moulds and the power of the oven)
