NIGERIAN DELICACIES: EWA AGOYIN
Everyone who know me on a personal level, knows I am a foodie.
I torment @uche-nna and some other steemians on WhatsApp by uploading pictures of my food on my WhatsApp status. Lol
The picture you see here is a Nigerian staple meal called Ewa Agoyin and bread. In English, Ewa means beans.
The beans used to cook this meal is known as ‘Oloyin’ beans or Honey Beans.
A sauce made out of peppers, crayfish and onions is the poured on top to give the beans flavor. This is because the beans is cooked without any seasoning.
Eating this delicacy with bread is a must. So maybe we can call it beans sandwich just the way we have banana sandwiches and the rest. 😋
I had this for breakfast and I truly enjoyed it. This is the definition of a balanced diet meal. Lol
