Today I am going to introduce a list of U.S./New York desserts! Here, first of all, is a picture of Manhattan where I am living in now. It is a very diverse city where you can meet people from everywhere in the world. Beautiful people are everywhere, so many that they do not even look special in a crowd. Out of curiosity, I have tasted a lot of desserts here that China does not normally have. Here you can see in the following pictures and I will give you a tour of 10 typical desserts/bakeries yum yum yum.

1. Quiche

Quiche is made of eggs, milk, cream, cheese, and meat/ seafood/ vegetables and was originally from France. I feel like there are a lot of French desserts in the U.S.

乳蛋饼含有蛋，奶，芝士，肉或者海鲜或者蔬菜。它原本是来自法国。我发现美国的甜品好多都是来自法国诶。

2. Cookies

The most common cookie here should be the Chocolate Chips Cookie. Cookies here are different from the ones in Asia, they are soft whereas the cookies in Asia are mostly crispy. I was really surprised the first time I really got to taste the cookies in New York.

这里最常见的饼干是巧克力粒饼干。最让我惊奇的是它们竟然是软的..看起来脆脆的才好吃，怎么美国人喜欢吃软的？

3. Scone

Scone is kind of like a thicker cookie, which is normally made of oatmeal, wheat, or barley.

司康可以说是一种比较厚的饼干，通常是由各种麦做成的。

4. Cupcakes

The famous American tv show--Two Broke Girls totally made cupcakes popular in New York. They have all kinds of cupcakes here that you probably can never get in Asia. The first picture is a normal-sized cupcake, compared to the second picture which is a bunch of cute, delicate, mini-sized cupcakes.

杯子蛋糕！你们都看过破产姐妹吧，里面天天都是杯子蛋糕，在纽约你什么口味的都能找到。第一张是正常大小的杯子蛋糕，第二场是迷你蛋糕，超可爱哇！

5. Cronut

Oh wow, this one is probably the most hyped on in New York, people can line up over night here just to get a cronut. A cronut is basically a combination of croissant and doughnut.

好吧这个厉害了，可颂和甜甜圈结合版，可颂甜甜圈。在这里以前有段时间特别火，这里人愿意通宵排队买一个可颂甜甜圈。

6. Tart

Crispy bottom, soft and savory in the middle. This is a fruit tart that I like the most.

水果塔！我的最爱。外壳脆脆的，里头香香的。

7. Fudge

Fudge tastes a little bit like a brownie and is very sweet just like all other American desserts. Asian people mostly find the desserts in the state unbelievingly sweet for them! Fudges are usually thicker, harder, and sweeter than brownies. Fudges have flour whereas brownies do not.

乳脂软糖，其实尝起来有点像巧克力蛋糕。我在这里第一次尝试甜品的时候简直吓死了，太甜了，不要命的甜，感觉亚洲人要花一段时间适应这里甜食的甜度哈哈。

8. Brownie

巧克力蛋糕。软软的，甜甜的。入口即化的感觉。

9. S'more

S'more is basically two cookies with marshmallows in between. Often than not, they tend to melt the marshmallows as well.

这个又是什么鬼，两篇饼干中间夹上一烤棉花糖。很甜，好吃。中文叫什么有朋友知道吗😛？

10. Muffin

马芬。我喜欢的马芬外壳有点脆，里面软。
