Food today has ceased to be just a source of energy for a person. It is not just a set of proteins, fats and carbohydrates that covers the daily consumption of calories. Science has long known that human health requires not only nutrients, but also vitamins, macro - and micronutrients, and fiber, which have to be obtained from food. It truly is difficult to find food that contains a significant amount of nutrients, micronutrients, vitamins, antioxidants, complete protein, and fiber.
Quinoa truly does contain a lot health benefits when consumed. The texture of it, when cooked, is very unique from any other food I have tried-- but it is very delicious and I plan to continue eating it every morning for breakfast!
