Weekend Appetizer
Sometimes in the weekend me a be @kellyrenee decide to do different appetizers. This past weekend we were hanging with a friend and the idea came up again. So I decide to whip up a batch of these. I've heard numerous names for them. I usually go with pigs in a blanket.
I use cresent rolls to wrap mine. I usually stay by laying them out and cutting them into strips. Then a wrap them up and throw them on a cookie sheet with some nonstick spray.
I used two pans because they tend to expand a little. Then I gave them a little sprinkle with garlic and onion powder to give it a little extra flavor. Then bake for 10 minutes or until brown.
That's it a nice, quick, easy appetizer. I'm always looking for other easy ones. Anything you want to share?

I do miss what we. All Sausage Rolls back down under fresh sausage meat cooked in pastry
They come in various sizes but those and pies are what I miss the most from NZ

Do you ever make a dipping sauce with them? They're the perfect size for dipping into a garlic/bbq dip or something tangy like that. 😁
That does sound good. Usually just ketchup and maybe ranch though.
Love these things, I usually eat too many whenever we make them, haha... Hard to go wrong with crescent rolls and hotdogs!
Try a little piece of cheese in each one. Or a couple of drops of hot sauce in some of them so you get a random spicy surprise.
Oh yeah I have made them a million times just like that!
