Recently, I got this message from my Grab app. Grab is like Asia version of Uber. I have been using the GrabHitch quite a bit in order to can to the university for class at night. It is like a matchmaking service service for people who need a ride and driver who may be going near your destination. That is different from their normal GrabCar which was what Grab started with like Uber. It was $9 cheaper ride though still not cheaper than the train and bus.

跟同学的开会取消了所有就搭个GrabHitch去它们公司找凯蒂猫.。车程九折优惠后是$9.90 但我至少没被雨淋到。

It was still raining bad. Dear Daniel, oh I mean the guy there who handed over Kitty said there is a few unit away. I went to check it out but many stalls were closed and this was one that is still busy.
还在下雨。交给我凯蒂猫的小伙子说有个食阁在附近几个单位。就去看看。很多摊位已关了。这家算最忙的了。
Checked on the outside again. Still raining.

I can see a temple nearby through the rain.

I remembered there was a Bak Kut Teh place here. A place that serve pork rib soup. Good idea for dinner on a cold raining day. Checked online. Yes, just a block away. Ah… found it.
我记得这里附近好像有卖肉骨茶的。下雨冷冰冰的，最好吃肉骨茶了。上网找。原来只隔几座。啊。。。找到了。

装饰没什么特别还没几个人但我敢肯定平日午餐时间爆满。

Dinner is served. I’m having the sliced pork soup rather than the pork rib soup as I was too lazy to mess with the bones. The soup is the same anyway.
开饭了。要了碗肉片汤。懒得搞肉骨。反正都是一样的汤。

Chow Yun Fatt had eaten this Bak Kut Teh before but I guess not at this particular outlet.

They take GrabPay which is payment enabled by Grab. Think of it like Grab issuing their own token. I used it to pay for my GrabHitch ride too.
它们有收GrabPay。就是Grab的付款模式。就好像Grab自己发币。我也用过来付乘搭GrabHitch的钱。
Time to take Kitty home. Still drizzling and I got a little wet but Kitty was kept dry. :-)

Grab is essentially competitor of Uber here in Singapore. I think they have it in Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam and others. Their normal Grab car is similar and you need to take a test and be a registered driver to drive Grab car and Uber. GrabHitch is slightly different in that you don't need to take the test but I think there is some agreement with the Grab company you must sign that you cannot hitch more than 2 or 4 times a day but one journey you can hitch as many as your car can take. In that way, the one journey can make quite a lot. I was paying $11 to a guy one time who had 3 other passengers going the university the some ride. Good pocket money. I know of people in the office doing it daily to and from work. One guy said the month he make was more the the increment money from his promotion. LOL.
So kind of you to take such good care of Kitty 😵
I was already in plastic wrap. Just have make sure didn't get squash or dirty along the way. :-)
don't forget to ask your owner to remove you from the plastic bag, you need some fresh air to keep you beautiful and cute

賣肉骨茶的不多，而且不好吃呀！
我哪有那個本事？我不知道秘訣在哪兒，怎麼弄才會那麼好吃。
我買過肉骨茶包來自己弄，可是味道沒那麼濃郁。

I think that although your meeting was canceled and you had to pay that $ 9, you ate like a king and apart you were lucky to have wifi (for me a unique value)
I did not know that Grab platform, but there is hardly anything cheaper than traveling by train or bus
