Eat and work | 吃了干活
I made my way to the canteen at the National University of Singapore last Saturday. There are not many students on Saturdays and many of the food stalls are closed but there are still a few open. The good thing is it is not crowded. I was attending first lecture on last Thursday night and couldn't access the WIFI. My bad. It wasn't just a username and password but some setup were necessary. So, came to fix it on Saturday. Yes, the WIFI is accessible from the canteen.
我上周六去新加坡国家大学的一个食堂地。多数学生在星期六都没课所以许多食品摊位也没开但仍有几摊有做生意。好处是星期六不拥挤。 上星期四晚，去上了第一堂课，上不到网。都是我的错。本以为一个用户名和密码就行，没想到还要做一些设置。所以，上周六到来看能不能弄好。是的, 在食堂也收到WIFI 。

First, get some cheap food. A pot of meat ball soup, a pot of sesame chicken and 2 bowls of rice. All for only $6.80.
先来个便宜的午餐。一小沙锅肉丸汤，一小砂锅麻油鸡和 2 碗饭。总共只需i $6.80 。

After lunch, got a coffee and get down to business. Yes, the WIFI is accessible from there. See if you can spot the cranes for the port in the far end in this picture.

@ace108 - Nice effort to fix the Wifi while you were having lunch. The post is beautiful and detailed. Amazing how you did it just from a portable device. The photos are crisp - almost like from regular camera. The port cranes are visible in the distance towards right in the outdoors photo!

那里很多选择够便宜但可惜星期六少了很多。
I see the cranes! So you are near the water there :) I am happy to see more and more restaurants and stores here are offering free wifi. If they do not offer it, I usually will go somewhere else.
We are a little island and water is usually not far off.
It seems the WIFI is becoming more important than the food now. :-)

Those lucky NUS studs..in SMU, there is no canteen..only two food courts, and the prices are food court level as well..
Thank God for Waterloo coffeeshop and Albert Hawker Center lol..
Albert Hawker Center is hot literally too. The lunch time there is always crowded because too many good enough and cheap enough food.

Never been there during the period. CNY is not a good time to visit hawkers..all the best stalls are closed for weeks D=
