The Petals Contests - #Flower
My unknown houseplant
I must admit, that concerning houseplants I am too picky. When I choose a plant it is most important for me how it looks.
Once, my work mate brought this plane, unnoticeable plant and said: "Who will take it? Otherwise, I'll throw it away." Maybe I felt pity, or probably I wanted to do something nice for that lady, and I said: "I'll take it".
I put this unknown plant into a glass of water and left on the window sill. Windows in my office are on the sunny side, so it is usually too hot for plants that I love. And I decided to see where it will go - could it survive or not.
As you can see, it servives, and therefore moved to the next level - I took it home and planted in a pot. I also have an especially sunny window at home, and the plant quite likes it unlike other inhabitants of my window sills. And it started to blossom!
