Don't be a scrub! Get your fitness on! Just kidding, you're not a scrub. If you were, you wouldn't be on Steemit. I'm on day 47 completing the #fitnesschallenge by @steemmatt! I encourage everyone to join and get your bodies into shape!

Today was a better day then last, but I lacked a bit of sleep. A bit late on this one as I had a busy work night. It was also a beautiful day out. It was a perfect day for agate hunting but I didn't get enough sleep so I took it easy. The drainage is fixed so we got to come home. Everything is hooked up but I still have a bit of leakage that will require me to fix sooner then later. I am not very savvy when it comes to home repair, so it's a tedious process for me as I get used to being a homeowner (hopefully a land owner soon)

My Daily Challenge Completed

My pecks, biceps and triceps are all sore today. This is what I needed to feel, it lets me know that I'm doing it right. At first I was going to just do situps but I realized if I were to end up in a situation where running was necessary I would be able to, so that means I can do some air squats too. As I've stated before, I try to make air squats a daily routine now because it's made my first jog since I started working out very easy. If you are new or aren't sure how to start, you can't go wrong with air squats.

This morning I missed the continental breakfast but they gave us some donuts and pastries. This was literally my lunch and my breakfast (it might explain why I was so tired). With so much cleaning ahead (since we didn't have drainage) I was in no mood to tackle that. I ended up holding out on dinner til about 1 am where I had a gyro at my favorite gyro shop. With so many distractions it's been difficult remembering to take pictures but I guess it proves that I'm only human :p So I won't taunt you with any delicious food pictures today.

My Motivation

I've decided to stop smoking cigarettes in the beginning of January and have been meaning to start an exercise routine to replace my smoking habit with something much healthier. It's been rough quitting, and even tougher getting the motivation and energy to start a daily exercise routine but thanks to this challenge, I've motivated myself to get it done!

When I joined Steemit I made the decision to always Power-Up my earnings. For now, payouts are set to 50/50 but you bet I will convert & Power Up! Besides internal transfers, I have never cashed out and don't plan on it! Power-Up only!
