Ever been sick? yeah. well, for me the past month has been that way. Nobody WANTS to be sick, but it does have a certain good side effect.. some weight loss. Or course, that's mostly due to loss of appetite, as well as other more gross stuff..

So, for me, I was actually trying to limit my calories in order to lose some weight. My goal was to lose approx. 1 lb per week. I started this 'diet' about 2 weeks before I got sick. I was around 205 lbs. then. (u can see it in my pics from that time)

I didn't weigh myself until I went to the Dr. a couple weeks ago. The scale read 185. We didn't get to see the Dr. (had to go pick up the kids.. waited for over an hour for the doc) so I went back a few days later and again they weighted me.. 182 lbs. Uh! I think that I have a little problem now.. that's a bit too much weight loss for me to lose, that fast. I later took a weight and body fat test on the scale at my gym and confirmed the weight, and say that my bf% was down a bit, but not at what it should be given the lbs. I had lost.. I was losing too much muscle along with whatever else.

So here's what I did to slow down/ put a stop to/ and even gain back a few lbs of that weight. I simply added this peanut butter/banana/chocolate spread sandwich as my breakfast.

Here's how it's made..

get your bread, then smother PB on one side, chocolate on the other. Banana sliced are put on PB side. put em together and enjoy! (I do plan on using PB on both sides now, since the chocolate spread makes the banana slices slide out the sides)




So did it work? What's my weight now? Well, last check, the scale read 185 lbs. It looks good to me! :)

OK, just thought I would share that with you all.. just in case there's anyone out there who is trying to gain a few lbs. Try this and it should work for you, too!

bread is life... Its actually my favorite breakfast the Ube bread you should try it..

yeah, but no thanks! :P I had an ube filled bun that made me really sick the first time i visited PI. now, i just avoid it. maybe it's ok in icecream on halo halo! i seem to be maintaining my 185 lb (84 kilo) for now so thats good. i think u can afford to eat some ube, though! :P

A lot of Filipinos don't like Peanut Butter, except in Kare Kare :)

Its @purepinay's favorite food, she always has me buy her 40oz containers of Skippy, and eats it with a spoon while she binge watches TV series' haha.

oatmeal, peanutbutter, oils, honey, package whipping cream, bananas, some veggies all in one in a shake in total 1600+ calories :)

I made a post about it months ago, and I still need to gain wheight drastically :S

So amazing that you have lost like 20 lbs in just 2 weeks. I guess dont need it for myself since I just weight 54lbs. Hehe. However, glad made it. :)
