Finland's 100th Anniversary, and Guess What Market Economy Did to It?

in #finland7 years ago (edited)

Finland's 100th Anniversary started from the 6th of December and boy, does the market economy love that! They also love advertising, and so do I! Not really, but it's a great excuse to advertise my 'Finland' -themed contest because Finland 100, obviously. You throw me with anything original work that is about Finland and you have a chance to win STEEM.

But into the point:

Let's see what kind of a monster Suomi Finland 100 and the market economy has created...

That's how we beer in Finland.

Source

It's not even a joke.

The essential Fazer's Sininen chocolate...

Guaranteed choice for chocolate lovers.

Some misc everyday stuff like...

Source

Scissors.

Source

A blade?

Or several, in one.

Source

Suomi Finland 100 -Swiss army knife, why not?

Or maybe rubber boots?

Source

Wouldn't even mind using those, quite fancy.

But those could be slippery in winter.

But no worries because in case of lethal accident you can at least get yourself in a Suomi Finland 100 -coffin made from Finnish pinewood with a flax filling.

Source

Try not to intentionally get into one of those, though.

I hope this won't cause an increase in the death statistics...

Source

Maybe that's little too much...

Just take a deep breath of fresh arctic air...

Source

...and forget it.

But don't hang out too long in the cold...

Or you'll have to take a sauna to warm up...

Source

...with a Suomi Finland 100 -whisk (usually we make it out of birch, though)...

...whipping ourselves...

...in 80 degree hot room...

...throwing water onto pile of hot rocks...

...naked.

Don't ask why, it's just what we do.

But we need something to drink since we are sweating in a hot room...

~

Right, more beer.

But don't overdo it.

Or you could end up like this guy:

Though it was in some Independency Day or 2011 when Finland won hockey championship, both are acceptable.

Here was a little comedic relief for the Finland's 100th Anniversary that is such a subject of pride (nothing wrong with that though). Because balance is a good thing to acquire, I believe.

Have a good day and becoming weekend!

But not before you've checked the CONTEST

And why wouldn't you? I'm literally giving away FREE SBD just for resteeming it!

Why? Maybe cause I'm in such a good mood like that guy above for the celebration of Finland.

Go before it fades,

I couldn't stop laughing when I first saw Arnold with the 100-pack on his shoulder, the guy who photoshopped that is a genious 😂

It started as some guy's initial who's in charge in the factory. He knew there had been a 99-pack of beer somewhere in America so he just thought like: "let's make it even bigger" 😁

The chocolate looks divine!

As a chocolate lover, it is!
