Fiverr and Upwork working methods

in #finance6 years ago (edited)

I am going to compare the working method of two best freelancing websites. I will tell you in this article the working strategy on this site. And at the end, we will conclude which is site is the best.

Working Method on Fiverr

Fiverr is the marketplace which starts from the $5 and then it's up to you that how can you convince your buyer to purchase your extra gigs and you make your order for $$$. In this site, you make your gig and publish it on the site. The buyer directly places the order or he can contact you in your inbox if he likes your gig and the portfolio. If your gig is well ranked on the site then you didn't have to bid on the projects. You got the orders automatically without submitting any proposals. But the main drawback is that you cannot share your Facebook id, Skype ID, or anything else with your buyers. Because it's against the rules if you will contact your buyer outside the Fiverr. So the drawback here is that you cannot build up the lifetime relations with your customers. The relationship is just on Fiverr.

Working Method of Upwork

Upwork is the best website if you want to get big projects. On upwork site, you have to submit the proposals on the daily basis. If you didn't bid on any project, then its impossible to get the project. Because it's not like Fiverr that you have to publish the gig on the site and buyer can contact you through your gig. In this, you have to make the account and start bidding on the different proposals. And try to impress your client with your proposal. Try to submit the maximum proposals on the daily basis. So that the chance for getting the orders increase. Upwork site allows you to share your personal details with your clients this helps you to make your lifetime relations with the customers.

Conclusion

Fiverr has its own advantages and the disadvantages, while upwork has its own. Fiverr is the best site for the newbies to take the start. And the main benefit is you didn't have to bid on the projects once your gig is well ranked. Clients will automatically contact you after viewing your gig. But the drawback is you cannot share your personal details with your buyers. So your relation is just limited up to Fiverr.

And the benefit of upwork is the projects on this site are bigger as compared to the Fiverr. You can also share your personal details with your buyer. So you can build up lifetime relationship with your customers. Then you can also work directly, outside the upwork. Which is beneficial to you and your buyer. You get freedom from the site charges.

Thank you umairshehzad for making a transfer to me for an upvote of 1.30% on this post!

Half of your bid goes to @budgets which funds growth projects for Steem like our top 25 posts on Steem!

The other half helps holders of Steem power earn about 60% APR on a delegation to me!

To learn more about Steem, will you please use http://steem.guide/ because this URL forwards to my most recently updated complete Steem tutorial?

I've used both platforms to hire freelancers and have found that Upwork has higher quality people, but they charge a bit more. Fiverr has a lot of cheap freelancers but the work is not always great.

If you're looking for a simple proof of concept, go with Fiverr. If you want something that can be market ready at the end of a gig, go with Upwork.

You are right :)
