Filmmakers Diaries: Proactive day off.

Hello and welcome to another Filmmaker’s diary! - 27/04/2019

Today, I took a proactive day off.

Yesterday’s news of our department changing spaces just did not sit well… 4 more days and I’m off to holidays.

As per the new editing job, that’s what I’ve been doing today. Only have a small video to finish and I’ll be done for the week.

The last few I’ve edited were simpler than the first 3, that combined with the non-render technique really made it a much smoother ride today. Meaning the first video I did for them took me around 12 hours… but now I think I can knock them out in 3, maybe even 2 sometimes.

One: If I quit my nine to five, I should get quite some free time. And as such be able to focus on what’s important.

Two, I think I can keep this editing system for a few months with the no render technique and no need to buy a computer immediately. Also nice. Instead, I can start preparing to get one.

That’s it for today… editing small social media videos was the name of the game.
