Filmmaker's Diaries: Week report

Hello and welcome to another Filmmaker’s diary!

So this week was a bit special.

The first day, I let myself sleep and ended up not going to the office.

The second day, I wake up very early, manage to work a bit before going to “work”… Got home very tired.

Then I ended up drinking twice this week… normally that would not be worth of mentioning, but for 1/2 years I’ve been cutting down on alcohol. And if not the first time I drank this year, it was the second at most.

Hence, I also felt somewhat lower on energy than usual.

Was not able to write that much.

But the big news is: I got hired for that editing job!!! This means somewhat of a steady income for editing simple videos, from the comfort of my home. It’s not a spectacular salary, but it’s entry level, there is a chance that they start to pay me more as time goes by and they even offered me another job immediately, to film a big event their having. And most importantly it gives me a lot of free time.

The main point here is that, while not crazy money, it will put me in a nice position to negotiate down there at the office. Result base or part-time. It's not common at all down here, but I’ll try. I’m doing a good job and if they don’t want I can just walk away…

I’m having a nice holiday in May and then, I’ll see about that.

So that’s the news for this week. Guess I’ll be 6 months without any drinks now hehehe… I’ll feel better, save money and create more.
