Predestination (2014)
Hello again dear friends ans steemians, the daily movie recommendation for today is Predestination (2014) which is directed by Michael Spierig and Peter Spierig known as The Spierig Brothers who also made the movie Daybreakers (2009) being a good movie and they finished their new movie Jigsaw (2017) which wil be released on 26 October and for next year will come out another movie from them Winchester (2018).
Predestination is a movie criticized by many people being in conclusion a movie that you either love or hate and I am on the side of those who love this movie.
Let's get started and see why I liked this movie and I'll explain a few things about it.
Review(Possible spoilers)
The movie begins with a time travelling agent who has a mission to disarm a bomb which eventually explodes and burns his face and during this time someone is approaching him and throw to him his travelling device who helps the agent to reach a hospital in the future and for his courage is decorated with the Blackmore cross being the second one which it receives.
While staying in the hospital recovering from facial reconstruction we find out that the agent tried often to stop the Fizzle Bombe's attack which was in New York in 1975.
We find out that it is his last mission also being in a bad state and that it was very used by the agency in many missions and the agency thinks that the risks are too high to continue.
The agent moves to New York and engages as bartender at Pop's Place and begins a conversation with one of the local clients John which works as a writer who writes true confession articles under the name The Unmarried Mother and everything it started from the fact that it is very difficult to make a living.
I explained a few things about the movie and I will stop here leaving you to enjoy the rest being a movie that has non linear storytelling, the actors played very well, the movie did not last long and didn't bored me and it was a psychological movie which I really liked despite the fact that many people criticize it.
I'm curious about your opinions and don't forget to request the movie genre which you like to be recommended for tomorrow (without anime and documentary).
My rating 8/10
