An illusion - FiftyWord short story challenge
The night was young and alcohol invited me to enjoy the music. My gaze attracted his attention. A few drinks later, our bodies struggled to get rid of our clothes. The bed was still hot, some bills left on the table and a goodbye broke the illusion of the encounter.

Ah, I see! I thought she was an unintended escort lady. In other words, it seemed she thought they had feelings for one another until he paid and left, unceremoniously.
