Alone
Peaceful river over the bridge, sleepy murky sky, crisp air, absence of everyday noise. He savored the loneliness. This was what he wanted when he first planned this trip. Then he accidentally dropped his cellphone into the water below. Panic flooded him. Now he was alone in the truest meaning.

I came across with the post about this contest by @literature-trail while I was browsing Steemit using a tag “writing.” I got instantly intrigued so that I decided to submit my entry to this contest.
I wanted to describe that even when people want to be alone and seek quietness, they don’t feel peaceful at all if they’re truly alone, unconnected to the world via cellphone.

안녕하세요, Bree입니다.
이번주 50 words Story Contest Week에 참가하려고 합니다. 이번주 주제는 trip인데, 이 단어를 넣어서 50개 단어 미만으로 글이나 시를 작성하면 되는 겁니다. 제가 쓴 글은 아래와 같습니다. 어찌어찌 딱 50단어를 맞췄네요.

다리 너머의 평화로운 강물, 졸린 듯 우중충한 하늘, 차고 맑은 공기, 일상 소음의 부재. 그는 이 외로움을 음미했다. 그가 처음 이 여행을 계획했을 때 원했던 것이 바로 이것이었다. 그러다 그는 실수로 핸드폰을 아래 물 속으로 떨어뜨려 버렸다. 공포가 그를 덮쳐왔다. 이제 그는 진정한 의미에서 혼자가 된 것이다.
우리가 때로 혼자 있고 싶어하고 번잡한 것을 싫어하지만, 막상 정말로 세상과 단절이 된다면, 특히 주변에 아무도 없는데 핸드폰마저 아예 쓸 수 없는 상황이 된다면 마음이 그다지 평화롭지만은 않을 거라는 걸 묘사하고 싶었습니다.
첫 시도였는데 어렵긴 하지만 재미있네요. 제 명성이 55가 넘어서 참가자격이 안 되는 그날까지 계속 도전하고 싶습니다. ^^

정말 핸드폰이고 컴퓨터고 아무것도 없어야 완전히 혼자가 될 수 있죠.
꼭 여행 아니어도 ㅎㅎ
혼자인 듯하지만 ㅋㅋ 결코 혼자가 아니었어요 ㅎㅎ
영어를 먼저 읽어서 그런지 모르겠지만 영어가 더 느낌이 사는거 같아요.
