Jarod’s mouth swelled with the salty metallic taste of blood. The punch had landed hard - too hard. Staggering to his feet, he tried to raise his weary arms to cover his head, but they felt like lead. Dancing in an energetic rhythmic cadence, his agile opponent lunged at him again.
