The Start of Something Small
Eons ago human beings were very, very small. So small in fact, they were the size of insects. And like some insects, they had wings and could fly. In fact, flight came so natural to humans way back when, the notion of actually using their legs to stand or walk was inconceivable.
Way back when, humans were very much in tune with the planet they inhabited. Powerful forces from the earth, sky, water and air flowed through them in a symbiotic fashion and gave them powers unimaginable to humans today. You see, it wasn't just their wings that enabled them to fly, but the energy harnessed from their surroundings as well.
Evil forces from beyond the heavens send the Aphid creatures to their beloved Earth. The Aphids craved the blood of a human and killed many. Before they arrived, humans lived for many, many years. Death was an unnatural occurrence before the invasion.
A human had never killed another living creature before the arrival of the Aphids. Now, faced with horrific extinction, a war must be waged between the Spryte humans and their despicable invaders.
