Nice exposition here, my friend! I'm glad we got an inside look at Jared's backstory here. And, on the 60th chapter no less. 60! That's a huge accomplishment! Heck, this story has more chapters than all of my posts here on Steemit haha!
Anna rushed over and placed her hands on Michael and Coderin, focusing all of her concentration on the task. She could feel Coderin's terror and Michael's madness and she focused harder, stripping it away from them like mental mummy wrap.
The two males began making whimpering noises and she felt a surge of relief, hers or theirs she wasn’t sure. Coderin sat up, but Michael lay silent. It seems that his whimper was his death throes. The group mourned his loss, but the discussion quickly shifted to Jared.
Did I read that right? I re-read it again and I could've sworn that it's what I read.
So Jared's indeed the prophecied warrior. Wouldn't it be a hoot if he turns out as not the one haha! That'll be a huge curve ball right there. Magnificent job, my friend! Looking forward to reading more of the LeJariende’Dachielle's future exploits.
LOL. There's a general rule of thumb when it comes to killing off a character...they should be slightly endeared to the readers, or they should matter so greatly to characters the readers love that it has an impact. Meaning if I did kill him, it couldn't be now, LOL
You could always go the Walking Dead route and kill off the people that readers hate haha!
They do that because they have to constantly kill people lol. But when they want to make an impact they kill Glenn and Abraham the bastards haha.
I was a big fan of the comic series, but I called it quits after Season 2 of the show. I picked it up for a bit around the time the Governor rolled in, but I just couldn't find a place for it in my viewing schedule.
