The Greens

Besides giving them the badge, the Chief, his wife and other tribal members taught the Greens about the swamp and how to live in it. The Greens learned what could be eaten and what NOT to eat. How to identify ground that could be walked upon and what to avoid. Their Kayaks turned out to be very useful. The Chief had told them about a patch of ground that was possible for them to drive the Van too. They could make it a semi-permanent camp if they wanted to.

They did.

So it was that they parked their Van on piece of relatively dry land and slept in it. They were safe from the wildlife of the swamp while inside. During the day there wouldn’t have been much problem. At night was a totally different ball game.

Mosquitos for example. They came out in SWARMS after dark.

The Cretaceous-Paleogend Extinction

Occurred 64 million years ago. At that time the dinosaurs were eliminated. Asteroid impact jumpstarted Volcanic activity which caused climate change. The combination of which eliminated 75% of all life.
