#136 : Christening and Launch
A week or so passed as the Retribution was converted from a carbon harvester to a fisher. There were some serious internal modifications for which, even after the tractor trailer sized freezer had been removed, there still wasn’t enough room. No problem with SSmoke Tech. The size of the Retribution was increased. It wasn’t a small boat any longer. It had became fairly huge.
Much Beer was loaded as were other consumables, including steak and hamburgers. Henry hadn’t given it ALL away. Finally the time arrived to leave. A small group of well wishers gathered in the shuttle bay to see them off.
“What are you going to call her?” Lucy asked “Every boat needs a name. Are you still going to call her Fluffy?”
“We quit calling it Fluffy a while ago.” Henry said “We’ve been calling it the Retribution because of a little altercation it was involved in a while back”
Angel smiled at that. It wasn’t a nice smile.
“It’s a Banana Slug Kraken Class Harvester “ Wilbur said “ converted to a Fisher. This is the formal christening.”
The Retribution extended a tentacle. Henry handed it a bottle of ‘Old Oil Change’.
It whacked itself on it’s ‘forehead’ with the bottle of beer. The bottle broke nicely. Beer went everywhere.
“I Christen thee Retribution!” Lucy giggled.
A cheer went up from the crowd. The two men boarded. The Retribution left the shuttle bay in search of the wily sushi. (and shrimp)

it's hard to tell what’s true or when they are lying isn’t it? It seems that they are more interested in influencing public opinion than they are reporting the facts.

A great event for the Banana Slug community, the fact that they now have a boat (Retribution) that will be in charge of fishing for seafood and sea fish (for seafood and sushi); it excites them enormously since they will be varying or diversifying the alternatives in their daily diet ... Of course the dynamic duo of Henry and Wilbur, they made sure to carry a lot of beer to the boat in order not to get bored and feel motivated.
Off now to find the elusive bluefin tuna, maybe a shrimp,or two, a few freshwater catfish, perhaps a trout or tow, and maybe maybe a swordfish. (needed to tame and train to attack the mean ole whales).
