The Coat that Levi eventually decided on was listed as an “All Weather Duster.” He liked Dusters. Back in the ‘good old days”, before his life went south, Levi had owned a Leather Duster coat. It had been really old. He’d inherited it from his father. It was made of Buffalo hide. He’d loved that thing. He had been sad when he lost it. He still felt sad when he thought about what happened. He tried not to think about that part of his life.

He’d thought about getting a new one many times but they were much too expensive. This was the perfect opportunity to do so. This one was even better than his old one. There were several versions. The one he liked best was described as ‘Urban Tacti-Cool.”

Each of those overall categories had sub-categories. Levi browsed them but was soon overwhelmed by all the techno-babble. All he could really tell was that it sounded impressive.

He definitely wanted one of those. The only question was which one. He noticed that there were two versions. “Basic and Genie”

Levi wasn’t all that clear about what a Genie was. He’d had several BoilerMakers by then so he really didn’t care. It seemed that the Genie version was better than the other ones.

He also wasn’t too clear about the part that said : If user currently has no Genie one will be supplied.

Levi was clueless but what the hell. It didn’t cost him anything. Might as well get the best. Go for the gusto!

He picked the Genie Version.
