Chapter 132: The NEXT Day

The police returned in force. Not only were did the two detectives return they brought help. Two squad cars of uniformed police.

Roy met them at the door. OUTside of the door, on the dock. ” The lady told you that you were not welcome here.”

“We have a warrant.” one said.

“May I see your warrant please?” Roy asked politely.

“Here it is wise guy.” one of the detectives said while producing said document and handing it to Roy.

“I’m afraid there must be a mistake.” Roy said.

“They all say that” one of the detectives said

Roy replied.” This document is invalid. This property is not in your jurisdiction”

“What do you mean?” The first detective blustered.” It certainly is.”

“It is not. This document states that you are city police. This property is obviously not in the city.” You’ll have to do better than this”

“I’m tired of playing this game.” The detective said. "You’re under arrest. Take him boys.”

The uniformed cops started to step forward. They stopped when they heard an ‘ominous hisssss’ and stared open mouthed and frightened behind Roy.

“Snakes’ one said.

“Why did it have to be snakes” the other one asked.

There were a number of Q-forms slithering out the door behind Roy. They did look very much like snakes.

“If you venture into the swamp.” Roy told them "You are likely to encounter snakes.

“Unless you are very careful.” He continued " You have not been careful. You were told that you are not welcome here and yet you returned.”

“But we have a warrant.” The detective said.”I told you that. I showed it to you.”

“And I examined it and pointed out it’s flaws.” Now if you have nothing else I suggest you leave.

“We have something else” a Uniform cops said drawing his gun.”

“I would caution you sir.” Roy calmly stated. "If by some chance you get lucky and hit me you WILL be bitten by the snakes. They are trained you see. Let me demonstrate.”

The snakes slithered out in front of Roy but between him and the city’s finest. On an unseen, unheard command they reared up as if they intended to strike. The police stepped back.

“Oh they weren’t intending to bite you.” Roy told them. "If they had, they would have. They’re quit quick...your not. However the ones behind you might think differently. Watch your step.”

The cops looked around. More snakes. A great many of them. They were crawling out of the swamp and crawling toward the cops...in droves.

“As I said” Roy told them "You are not welcome here. Leave and don’t return until you have a real warrant.”

The cops were more than happy to comply. They did that very thing.
