After standing for several minutes, I walked towards the Waldorf Tower, exploring everything in my way. Viewing the local landscapes, I suddenly discovered that there is an inextricable connection between the human and nature and it is important to live in harmony, without breaking the balance. Everything around looked amazing and unique and every minute I spent here, more and more my soul was filled with delight.

For several hours, walking alone, I was ready to get out of my pocket the amulet, which Master Lucas gave me, in order to teleport to the tower. But, a scream stopped me. It echoed, from behind a large tree, standing less than a mile away from me. Without thinking, I ran in order to help the stranger. When I reached the tree, I saw a girl lying on the ground, who was breathing heavily. She looked rather exhausted, and she was surrounded by pieces of ice, which seemed strange to me because it was spring now. Although it was cool, still not enough to form ice. I approached closer to help her, but noticing me, she jumped to her feet quickly.

"The water element - ice blade!" The girl shouted. "Who are you? Respond immediately or you will regret it!"

I could not tear my eyes from her, and although her face expression was menacing, in the hands she held a dark blue blade as if it was made from an ancient glacier, the marvelous beauty of which could completely captivate my soul.

The bellicose girl looked straight into my eyes, waiting for an explanation, and I just stood and was silent, as if bewitched by unnatural beauty. Long, burning-black hair and bright blue eyes made her look astonishing. Even a long robe could not hide her femininity. It seemed to me that a thousand lightning strikes hit me, waking me up from a long slumber. Something unknown, huge, and hidden from the sight made me completely helpless next to her, forcing me to obey her power.

"I am asking the last time, who ..."

The young Amazon did not have time to finish the phrase addressed to me. Her so tender face instantly turned pale, her eyes slowly closed, and the blade of ice that she held in her hand split into millions of small pieces. An unknown force pushed me towards her at that moment the girl lost her consciousness. Another second and she would have fallen on the ground, but I managed to catch her. Powerful and wild, a moment ago, now fragile, like a cherry blossom, fallen from a tree, she laid quietly in my arms.

Her breathing was heavy, but facial expressions have indicated that she does not stop fighting tiredness, and soon will be fine. The necklace that adorned her neck had three stones, the vaults for Eyvaz's energy. In size, they were smaller than the master’s stones. They did not radiate light at all, being in a dim state. It followed that she was training too hard and used all of her strength. In our lesson, Master Lucas told me that the more Eyvaz energy uses a magician, the more skill it requires. And here is the cost of the poor control ability. I once again looked at the girl, who hardly awakened.

"My name is Daniel, and I've arrived at the Waldorf tower yesterday," I said with a gentle voice to evoke trust, holding the beautiful lady warrior. And with my second hand, I scratched the back of my head awkwardly.

"Thank you, Daniel, for not letting me be on the ground again. I'm very glad that I will not have to spoil your pretty face. It would not have pleased me at all."

She still was lying in my arms and looking into my eyes. But then, completely recovered, she smiled ruefully and hurried to stand on her feet. Even this small smile made me forget about everything in the world, giving me peace of mind.

"My grandfather said something about you, and everyone around him just talks about the mysterious guest who appeared in the tower," the girl said sarcastically. You gave me your name, following good manner, and now I will tell you mine. I am Camellia, named after the winter flower, which has not grown in these lands for a long time. So why did you come to us? And what are you doing here alone?

I decided not to tell her the whole story, but only a small part.

"It's very nice to meet you Camelia," began I. "I lost my memory and I do not know how I came here. But I'm the carrier of Eyvaz's energy, so I train with Master Lucas. We had a meditation lesson in the valley of knowledge and this is the answer to your second question."

"Master Lucas?" Camellia asked again. "You are very lucky, because earlier he did not take anyone as an apprentice. Although only a few people can compare with him in magic. He is one of the few masters who thoroughly master the battle magic. There are rumors that he has mastered thousands of deadly techniques, some of them are even forbidden. Oh, I envy you a little, because my teacher is far from real magic. We meditate all the day, and it's very boring, and the tournament cannot be won just with concentration.

"What kind of tournament?" I asked, interrupting her.

Camellia did not answer my question. She hurriedly, as if recalling something, looked at the sun setting over the horizon, and then at me.

"I'm also very pleased to meet you, Daniel," said Camellia, giving me one more beautiful smile. "Some time I will definitely talk about the tournament, and now I need to go to the tower if my… close friend sees us together, you may have problems."

I wanted to stop her, saying some nonsense, but she deftly pulled the amulet out of her pocket and disappeared in the air after a second. I did not want to stay here alone, it was already dark outside and empty in my stomach. I definitely had to eat something. So I pulled my dark amulet from the pocket, clasped it in one hand, drawing a crescent moon in the air and thought of my dusty little room in the tower. The air before me flew, the body became light. Space seemed to swallow me and spit in my room.

Only the moonlight illuminated the room given to me by the inhabitants of the tower. There was not a single sound around. It would seem in such a situation, the sleep should be sweet and strong. But still, it was impossible to fall asleep. Perhaps the culprit was a dense dinner, which was kindly left on my table. Or maybe a note telling me to follow the rest of the adepts after lunch, to the place where the theoretical magic lesson will be held. But the main cause of insomnia was a busy day, which left behind so many questions. And now my consciousness was trying to find the answers to them.
