Tips for Taming InsectssteemCreated with Sketch.

As a macro photography enthusiast of course we should be familiar with the objects we will photograph. In this case of course we must be familiar with insects, because it is usually seranggalah used as objects of macro photography. Just like a model photographer, they must be familiar with the model in order to manage their expression and position without any hesitation.
Then what is the advantage of taming or familiarizing yourself with insects?

First, we can approach the insect without the insects are afraid of mapupun disturbed so that the insects that will be our photos do not blur as we approach.

Second, of course we can photograph the insect with the position we want, from angle-angle that we want too.

Third, and most mainstream again, we can put these insects in our hands, and this is what will post this time.

Some insects are easily tame without having to do this way, but the way I do this can be applied to all insects, of course you have to be brave and not afraid if the insect is in your hands. Immediately, the following tips:

  1. Intention
Why the intention, is it willing to pray? So, the insect is like being able to read our minds, maybe he's equipped with sensors that can read our body movements and facial expressions, well like a micro expression expert maybe. He is very sensitive, very sensitive to the circumstances around. So, do not ever intend bad on insects.

  2. Look at his eyes
Can we, yes, we look at his eyes and keep the insect hypnotized as Deddy Corbuzier again hypnotized with the words "Eye-stroke saaayaaa ...." wkwkwk
But here we look at his eyes not to hypnotize, but to look at each other to get to know more and to make sure the insect is convinced that we will not hurt them and leave them to our existence. Obviously this needs patience, wait until he feels comfortable to be near you, after all the steps are fulfilled do the last step.

  3. Extend Hand / Finger
Extending a hand gives the impression without coercion. So, here we do not force the insects to be willing to follow our orders so that he wants to move to our fingers. But, in order for him to volunteer to move to our fingers, we need to extend our hands / fingers slowly in front of the insect, wait a moment, if he does not run away, dare to stick our finger to his feet, he usually wants to move from his place to our fingers.

A few tips from me, good luck you practice, and following the results of photos with insects that I managed to capture:
