RE: Better Late Than Never - Bienvenidos a Food Fight Friday
Howdy again sir dandays! narrative.org is a new one to me. Have you checked it out yet and if so, what is your humble opinion? Just the humble one, not the mastermind one.
Yes sir, countless hours we spend for peanuts. And you said about the one post you literally had 20 hours wrapped up in that thing?? I wonder if that's a record?
Mrs. J always has lots to talk about, there are usually entertaining people that get arrested and what they say and how they act is just nuts most of the time, depending on if they're drunk or high. Well, some of them are mental cases too.
There's alot of heartache too as the girls keep coming back in because they have no support and no way to get out of their desperate situations. And that's where are heart is, to help them.
It's very interesting that she is a mother figure to them and want her advice and ask her to pray for them after that one amazing case where God moved on the young lady when Mrs. J prayed for her. I don't think I ever told you about that did I?
Well, it was when a lady came in to preach and teach the women and one of the women had asked for prayer.
The lady teacher finished and was about to leave and Mrs. J reminded her that the one girl had asked for prayer. Well the teacher lady acted like she didn't want to and she also acted like she didn't know what to do or how to do it. There was a glass wall separating the women from the teacher.
Well, Mrs. J is a prayer warrior. So she tells the teacher "come on"..grabs her hands and puts them up on the glass wall and the girl put her hands up there too, on the other side, so Mrs. J's hands were on the teacher's hands. The lady didn't say anything so Mrs. J started praying and it was just a gush of Holy Ghost fire coming out. For decades Mrs. J has been praying for people and seen many miracles and seen the power of God work and flow so she isn't new to this type of thing.
But she said when she put her hands up there and started praying she felt the anointing like she had never felt in her life. God gave her the words to pray and it was alot of things but one of them was Favor. Of course the girl on the other side was shaking and having a meltdown and could barely stand up because the power of God was going into her through the glass!
So Mrs. J finished praying and the girl was a heap on the floor sobbing, she was just hit so hard with the love and power of God. The girl had court the next morning. Mrs. J goes in that night and the girl was jumping around saying Miss A, Miss A! It was a miracle! I only got a sentence of 38 days!
Now, I don't know what the circumstances or the charge was but everyone said that was a bloody miracle and she got supernatural FAVOR from the judge. Well, word spread immediately through the women's cells what had happened so now they ask Mrs. J for prayer. lol. Of course, where she did that there are no cameras or she couldn't have done anything like that. That's the goodness of God in action.
Why did I play hooky today? Because she worked last night so she was sleeping in and I wasn't going to try to go and wake her getting ready and leaving for church, plus I had Jack to take care of.
I appreciate these one on one’s with you more than your blog. Now, before you go getting defensive with me, I appreciate your blogs very much! I never would’ve got into reading old cowboy stories anywhere else. I’m not sure (yeah, right!) What brought me to your page but I’m glad I found it. I still look for your blog daily. BUT not once has your blog given me the chills like this power of prayer story. I’d rather not just quote my favorite disciple, I took a screen shot of the exact words and even circled them for you. And, yes, I said my favorite. To each their own but I do have a favorite disciple and his name is James.

I have a tough time deciphering who’s the biggest gangster in the Bible.. James, Job, James.. no, Job, no.... I even use “James” as my alias.
Thank you for sharing this story. Although I’m outside right now to make sure I don’t miss a son rise, I’m proud to tell you it was over my shoulder but this conversation distracted me from staring at the mountain ridge.
I saw two Tucans yesterday! Big, massive species of a bird, bright orange body with black feathers and a long, bright red beak.
I can’t click the post button yet....
James 2:18
Ok, now I can.
edit I guess I was so into the body of our conversation I spaced your very first paragraph! In answer to your question....
edit again

See what I mean, Janton? I can’t tell you the last time I published an article and wasn’t paid a visit by a toddler claiming to be the guy behind the mask.
Howdy sir dandays! whoa, what time did you write your comment? Had to be about 5 o'clock, the sun comes up that early? Anyways, yes well my comments BETTER be alot better than my posts. The posts are to appeal to a wide audience and I work at not offending people or turning them off.
Thank you for the kind words, it is really great what God is doing there. The place is changing, at least on her shift. In the situation she's in now she gets an hour or two, usually, at the end of the night to just be able to walk the hall and pray for all the women and the jail and anything that God lays on her heart. Well most of it is in the Spirit so we don't know what it's about but we don't need to know. lol.
The place just needs more Christians in there working as guards. Love that scripture you gave, one of my favorites. James is amazing, good choice!
Tucans! Did you get pictures?
there's a waiting line to get into narrative.org? what is that place anyway, a blogging platform?
What's on the agenda for today?
This close to the equator and no time change, the sun is on the same cycle 365, up at 5:30, down at 5:30. There’s no variables. So, at about 5, the mountain ridge begins to light up.
Man, I wish I could walk those walls one time and feel the energy.
Tucans, yes! No pictures. Just a few hours ago there was three of them in the closest tree outside the dining room window. I don’t think they make noise. Do you know if that’s true or not? I should probably enquire about that at DuckDuckGo. Because all of the other birds—there’s a lot! There’s actually a flock of about 30 parrots that flies laps over the back yard about an hour before the sun goes down. Anyhow, lots of birds, I hear them now even, they all make noise except for the Tucans. Today there was three in that tree, the one I started this paragraph with, I watched them for a few minutes, they never made a sound. And when they fly, their tails are really long and fan out.
I guess it’s a waiting list?? 🤔 I created an email and registered a spot in line, who knows what’ll happen next. Platforms are dangling carrots and writing is on the wall. A buddy of mine wants to start his own platform even. That’s pretty big time.
Today.. 🤔 We lived, today. Pura Vida cut my hair. Made a little vegetable run. Man! We got a huge bag of tomatoes, about 30 tomatoes total, a big bundle of about the same amount of onions and a bag of 12 bell peppers all for 5 Million Colones. That isn’t how you say it, though, I finally got their money lingo—that’s importante! Cinco Mil, which is a little under $8. Got it on the side of the road, that had to be the best deal I’ve ever received in all of my produce purchases, sir. Got some sun. Some more sun. It’s been rough!
In the evening we have about four little gecko’s that hang out on the window screens. It’s interesting. My theory is, they’re aware bugs or flying insects are going to try to get in through the screens, so they hang out and wait.
I know you were around pistols and farms, I don’t believe you’ve been researching westerns for a real long time, what got you to this point? I’ll be surprised if you were a suit and tie guy. A tradesman, perhaps carpentry? Do you have calluses on the palms of your hand, janton, or just on your two keyboard punching finger tips?
Chat to you soon, Janton. 👍🏿
Howdy sir dandays! How interesting...so the sunrise and sunset are set, they never vary...wow. You could plan things so precisely then. But then that would mean planning and you don't plan! lol. I love the fact that there are big, beautiful birds everywhere and those Tucans sound fascinating..only they DON"T because they don't make sounds! Remarkable.
You guys are going to be so spoiled with the vegetables there! And we're all going to be envious. Well alot of us already are..those of us who are stuck in an apartment or something. We had a big scorpion show up tonight in the house, don't know where it came from but it got up to 61 degrees today so it was warm enough to revive those things.
We have geckos too, all over the house, little ones inside and big ones outside that hang on the screens like you said. I never thought about your theory before but it sounds logical, good thinking sir! I'm sure they have alot of larger lizards down there too. And lots and lots of snakes! creep city.
I started using duckduckgo also.
You have a friend who wants to start his own platform? A crypto platform? What kind, a blogging or facebook type?
You really think the writing is on the wall for steemit? Have you heard anything else? I never hear a thing. lol.. I never have any idea what's going on.
You guys have been searching online to see what properties are out there, so have you seen any that look promising? You need a stunning view and it needs to be in a little village so the traffic isn't insane. A pool is a must, I assume?
Your question about what got me to this point...not sure I understand..what got me to what point?
As far as past work, I grew up on the farm and ranch, the ranch was called the 7 A's because our last name started with A and there were 7 of us so our brand was a 7 and A combined which was pretty cool.
Anyway, grew up working hard, did some factory work which was pretty hard, got into the hard floor maintenance business which was very hard. You know, stripping and waxing tile floors. Then when God led us into the real estate business and we built our own successful company from scratch..for the first time in my life I went from a tradesman working with my hands to an office jocky, a paper shuffler and a data entry person. Could barely type.
God blessed us with that and after 12 years of working 12-17 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year we left that, took a leap of faith and moved to Texas.
By the way, your third sentence makes no sense to me because I don't know what walls you're talking about...."Man, I wish I could walk those walls one time and feel the energy." are you talking about walking up walls or on top of walls...?
You did that post that took 20 hours, I gotta go see that!
About the 20 hours, I’ve never actually timed myself but, with edits, rearranging and all of the other meticulous natured things I can’t avoid, 20 isn’t far fetched. Perhaps I shouldn’t divulge that type of info, kinda makes me seem crazy—God bless Pura Vida!
“Walls.” Danget! That should’ve said “Halls.” I’d like to walk the halls one time with Mrs. J.
That’s exactly what I meant by “what got you to this point?” I knew it! I knew I was conversing with a fellow tradesman—the callus having kind. I sure do appreciate you going toe to toe with me on these one on one’s. 👍🏿 There’s a song for it!
Seven A’s? Mom, dad, you, and I’ll take a gander: 3 sisters, all older and one younger brother. Or are you the youngest? Do you have kids? Don’t answer that if you don’t want to. And don’t tell me if you have grandkids if you don’t want to. 👍🏿
Yes, Pura Vida looks at properties just about every day. It’s really exciting. We have about five more villages mapped out that we’d like to go spend at least a month at so we can really get a feel of where ‘home’ is. Just typing about it is exciting. Yes, the hustle and bustle exists here, it’s in San Jose and the surrounding cities so we want far away from that. The cost to build a pool isn’t unreasonable actually so it’s not priority, it’s about 5th on the list, wait, I’ll count. Budget, view, land to raise my German shepherds, nice kitchen for Pura Vida, at least one rental property on the property, somewhere around here goes the pool. Fortunately, it’s practicallt customary that each of the homes around here already had a pool! 😉
Yes, my buddy wants to start a blogging platform, no, not a blockchain based one. He’s been hinting at me about it for about half a year now. Did you happen to catch that article I did awhile back about the hundreds of millions of dollars on that lottery ticket? Well, that’s the guy I’m talking about. He’s always wrapped up in business deals. Honestly, Janton, I haven’t heard anything at all, I’ve only read a few people who share my opinion but what I know for certain, 100% is what I see: a. My wallet continues to shrink, b. I can’t gather but 3-4 followers a month, if that, c. Both my wife and my posts are catching less and less traction, need more? This next ones a doozy! I’ve read about and even seen just about every witness do zero to assist me, personally, and yet maintain healthy relationships only with other witnesses. They Resteem eachothers work only, tip each others work only, even have their own private discord server. I know you know what I’m talking about... you and I can put up a post and be luck to make $1 but each of us know that every single post or Resteem a witness puts out is going to collect and get hit 10 fold. Not one business model in the history of the world can survive when the trickle
downup method is all trickled out. That’s what I consider writing on the walls, I hope I’m wrong! Steem isn’t going anywhere! I wouldn’t invest in #steem if I thought all off the blockchain applications had writing on the wall.Geckos, ha! Yeah, a few have ran across the walls inside the house too. That’s funny! Oh man, the only thing I can’t handle is snakes, Janton. I’m a big sissy with snakes, I hate snakes!! My wife can’t do anything without me, I have her back like that, but she knows if there’s a snake, it’s her job to get rid of it! I’m going to be standing on a ladder or something screaming like a child! I hate snakes. I don’t care if it’s the prettiest snake, world’s nicest snake, kissy face snake, I don’t care! What did you do with the scorpion? Is that a broom trick?? Shovel? Wouldn’t want to lose that one. How big was it?
Vegetables, yes, we are spoiled! I’m also learning pineapples, bananas and strawberries grow Year-round down here. I’m sure plenty more does, that’s what I’ve gathered so far. Oh man are those tomatoes delicious! We had a bowl of chopped tomatoes and cucumber yesterday with just a dash of salt, that’s it! That and a fork. 61?! brrrrr... North Yexas doesn’t get Humid like Houston, does it? As a kid I went to Conroe, Texas a few
Times. All I remember about that city is I’ve never been anywhere that humid since!
Eventually I’m sure the birds will allow me to picture them, we’ll see. You’re right about the planning, plans attract expectations and you know what happpens when expectations are involved—the possibility of disappointment. I’m really appreciating being able to pin point the clock by looking at the sun.
Another long one, eh! Dang, look at the size of this one! I’m thinking maybe we should just start our own daily thread, Janton, what do you think? You probably have detailed conversations like this with all of your followers. But it still isn’t a bad idea. To continue these conversations but with each click of the post button, it’s actually a post rather than a comment. Hmm.. but then it would cut into the daily you’ve already got going, yeah, probably not doable (here 😉).
you writing a book boy? lol..howdy sir dandays! No, I don't converse like this with anyone else on here. Was the post about the vehicles the one which you reckoned you took 20 hours to compose? And that's the one you expected a curie on? ahahahahahaha! Hey, I've been busing my tail everyday for over 9 months and most people I know have been and we've never gotten a curie. It's a rare thing. Most people never get them.
It takes an ungodly amount of time and effort, full time, to build an audience. Even then you have to chase them to keep them in contact, at least I do. At this point it looks insane and it probably is, I'm rethinking it every day. Of course you're right about the witnesses.
The only way to grow your account and following is to spend 15 hours a day on here, everyday, and the only way to grow your rep score is to buy votes. People almost no one has any voting power anymore. For most people if they vote 100% of their power that gives a one or two cent vote! lol. The only way that I can vote for hundreds of people each week is by leasing large amounts of sp which is really stupid on my part because it's so expensive! lol.
So you like German Shepards!!! yay, you would love Jack.

Have you had any before? Speaking of animals. the scorpions. I took a scraper tool with a long handle that we keep in the hallway just for scorpions and I cut the head off and then pick it up and put it in the trash. Mrs. J held Jack back, he likes to eat them!
But when we first got here the place was full of them, in the walls and everywhere. The house had sat abandoned for over 8 years so it was overun by nature and the scorpions had made it their home. We have to spray like crazy around the house inside and out and they still get in but are usually moving slow. We have to constantly be on the alert in the warm weather, can't ever go without shoes.
We put all of our funiture and bed legs in glass bowls and drinking glasses because scorpions can climb anything except glass. So those are our safe zones.
As far as snakes..yeah me too. I didn't even want to move here because of them. I love the winters because they aren't out. I've lost count of how many I've shot and you have to be paranoid because anytime you step outside you could have one right there on the deck outside the door and that has happened. Gotta keep the snake gun handy.
I've always had a fear of them too, not sure why. And I still haven't gotten used to seeing them. So I can totally relate, I'd have to research them there and see what's around. I can only imagine the dangerous ones you might have there.
Here's a shot of the views from our house, the first is facing North, the second is facing South.

I never had kids but Mrs. J had a daughter. She started having kids early so we have 2 grandsons, one is 21 and one is 18!
gotta go. let me know if I missed anything, thanks so much for staying in touch, how is the Missus doing?
I guess it kind of is like writing a book isn’t it? Not thatbitll he printed hardback or anothinf but it’s here in black n white, so, to answer your question:
(Please refer to my opening sentence)
Like I said, I’ve never timed myself with articles, I just know some take a long time and when I think all of that time is unappreciated, frustration sets in. That’s all. And, no, I never anticipate curie I’m just happy when they pass by. That was a lot of H’s and A’s, “hahahahaha,” what’s so funny? For example, I have 4 completed articles in my phone right now that I’ll continue to work and re-work until I think they’re worthy of posting. So, I don’t keep track of the time but several hours indeed, across the board.
Your views are gorgeous! It looks peaceful. Are you on a natural preserve? That doesnt look like a gold course.
Jack is gorgeous! Oh how I miss having a good dog like Jack. How old is he? The picture looks like he’s pretty mature? 7’ish, maybe 8 or 9? Hard to tell without looking at their teeth. I haven’t had a German Shepherd since 2013, that was a crazy year for me! Her name was Rook, all black. Massive dog! Everywhere we went, people always wanted to breed with “him.” I’d explain, “nope, she’s 105 pounds of run/swim every day female.” Bigger than most males.

Nah, you didn’t miss anything, Janton! Thanks for the reply, happy steeming! As for Pura Vida, I wanted a PB&J so she just made me some peanut butter. My autocorrect had ‘Paint butter,’ whatever the heck that is.

Time to get some gym time in. The time I spend training and the time I get between 4:30 and 6:30 are the only times I get to just be with myself. I appreciate those times.
howdy sir dandays! sorry for the late reply, dang internet service was out for almost two days. So to say I'm behind is quite an understatement. What happens in your gym time? What's the regime? Don't tell me it's planned! lol.
Hey Rook looks wonderful! Jack is 2 years old and still acts like a dang puppy. lol.
Our place is just out in the rough...scrub, cactus, and grass country of Texas. Most of it around here is pastures. In fact we're surrounded on all sides with pastures. It is extremely peaceful.
During one of the many God Encounters that Mrs. J had before we moved here was with an old black lady. Mrs. J had to go do an evaluation on her house. Well that's not accurate, I did the evaluations for the bank but she went on this occasion to take photos.
Anyway, the lady turned out to be a tremendous blessing. She was a Prophetess who spoke prophetically to Mrs. J. Now, like I've said before, the experiences that Mrs. J has had in the spiritual realm... spiritual warfare, seeing with her physical eyes into the spiritual realm because she has the Gift of the Discerning of Spirits which the Bible talks about...visions, having Words of Knowledge given and has given herself, she KNOWS when she hears the Word of the Lord.
Well man, she said when this lady went into a prophetic word she was instantly transfixed, spellbound, and joined in the Spirit because it was SO clearly the voice of God. . . so powerful, so accurate...so true, so profound..she first revealed things that only God would know..this is the first time she's ever seen this lady.
Mrs. J still remembers every word that little black lady said. Her name is Lillian. Anyway Lillian told her that our place in Texas would be a place of peace and restoration, a place where she would be able to hear from God. And that's exactly what it has been. Lillian also told Mrs. J.. "Don't THINK your ministry is going to be inside the walls of a church because it's not!" lol.
Anyway, you said it looks peaceful and it is. It takes a little while for most people to get used to the gunfire but not me of course, feels natural to me! lol.
105 pounds is a dang good sized shepard!
