Importance of Festivals in Our Lives!

Festivities are very important parts of our lives. Across the globe, we celebrate different festivals based on our region and religion. Each one has its own charm and sentiments. Festivals bring to our lives a few days of rest, calmness and fun.

Each festival has a story behind it, why we celebrate; how we celebrate. Same festival is celebrated differently in different parts of the world. Same festival might have different story and reason for celebration. We don’t know how many of these are real or literally, what is real.

How do we know what happened thousands of years ago? There are not cut proof evidences. But we still celebrate these festivals.

Let’s talk why...

• Festivals bring joys to our lives. Festivals are about celebrations, meeting relatives and friends, eating good food, praying to our Gods. All these things have a good feel. Who doesn’t enjoy breaks and cheers in life.

• They bring us close to our friends and relatives. In this buys era, we don’t always get time to meet our friends and family. We are too busy in our professional and personal lives. Festivals allow us time for our family. And after all, family is love.

• They offer break from our everyday routine. We are usually too busy in our daily routine that we tend to forget having fun. We all need break from offices to be able to spend some time for our own selves.

But why do we need festivals to celebrate? Can’t we choose to have fun at our own will? Can’t we choose to give time to our families more often. May be or may be not.. But having said that, I surely believe that even if we are not able to do it at our own will, we should definitely take festivals as an excuse to enjoy our lives!!
