I want a "quick reply" button on my Replies page
Some quick feedback today. Busy.org has been slow lately which has forced me back to using Steemit.com. One annoying thing that I've found (amongst the dozens of other oversights that I've writen about on Steemit.com) is that it's not possible to reply back to a discussion comment from the "Replies" page.

It's awesome that I can upvote a comment from this page, but why can't I reply to a comment? Why do I have to go to the actual discussion page? Some of the time the page will load with the specific comment in focus, but other times it doesn't and have to to scroll down thru all the comments and find the one that I'm looking for. Sure, I can use "find" by pressing Ctrl+f but it's unnecessary steps to simply reply back.
So, if the Steemit.com team is listening, which they most certainly are not, please log this as another Feature Request in your ever growing list.

I think a reply there wouldn’t work becuase often that view only shows part of the comment. If reply popped open a modal window like it used to which included the comment you’re replying to, that would be helpful.
good point, Luke. I wonder what it will take for other websites to build front-ends on top of Steem. My team and I have thought abt it so many times, but we can't figure out a revenue structure for it and we don't wanna use ads.
Many of the tools right now are listed as beneficiaries so they get a piece of every single payout for posts created on their site. If you can provide significantly more value that the Steemit interface, you could do well (though competing with “free” which is what Steemit is right now with no beneficiary set will not be easy).
hey, btw how do we create beneficiaries for a post like DTube does? @SteemSmarter would like to use this type of smart contract in lieu of creating a corporation to divide up our stake in the project. I expect it to grow quite large and would love to nail this down. If you know of a resource i'll be glad to read.
Btw, awesome lvl 73 reputation. I post every day, comment, upvote and reply all the time and it's such a slow process to lvl up. I'm kinda confused as to what the algo is.

yeah, exactly. It's hard to compete with free...even if free isn't very nice to the user's eyes or experience. For now, we're gonna keep building the tagging engine and release some specific reports on the global, tag/community and personal scale for now.
Busy, eSteem, Utopian, dtube, etc are all on the case as luke says.
I think the market is fairly covered with regards to blogging/video/sound, but if you can come up with a new media/resource then the door is wide open!

Agreed 100%, other features I want include notifications when someone upvotes my comment/post and notifications when someone comments on them. Tons of quality of life improvement opportunities on Steemit!
check out Busy.org! They have a great notifications menu.

I am always on mobile and always go back to steemit.com/steemitstage.com after posting at busy.org and other sites/apps because steemit mobile view is better. My only problem at steemit is the 'preview ' on my iPhone safari when creating new post and no draft folder that's why I sometimes use busy. And when I draft blogs at Wordpress I prefer to publish at steemit.com because I am not familiar with busy's coding. I can't use the "markdown" from mobile so I type html codes manually which I find easier to copy/paste on steemit.
Nice suggestion @ashe-oro some time it's pathetic for replying one comments you scroll down lot of page. sorry to hear that you are bitten by centipede. Be aware of poisonous centipede. Centipede love to enter human ear. so i advise you to cover your ear with some foam while sleeping. It's a great news that you are feeling ok. keep sharing @ashe-oro

lolz you will. But mostly centipedes are coward. They attack you when you will be sleeping. that's why do precautionary measures. Hopefully you will never encounter any centipede on your remaining tour. Stay safe and happy @ashe-oro
Yes, that's one of the things that's also bothered me a bit about Steemit. Since it's still in Beta, I'm hoping that it's one of the things that will be addressed in future updates.

Totally down to hear your bite report. Centipedes are the creepiest critters ever, and bit/sting reports have always been fascinating to me.
