Goldfinch Glimpses for a Feathered Friday on a Throwback Thursday
For a number of reasons, I'm taking a break from scanning old family photos for Throwback Thursday. However, since last week @melinda010100 said to me in a reply -
Look at all these wonderful bird photos! You could have easily used the #featheredfriday tag... It doesn't have to be Friday!
I'm going to do just that! I decided to go with Goldfinches, because they're one of my mother's favorite birds, so I thought she'd enjoy having a whole post filled with them!
Since all of these were taken between May 2016 and April 2017, that makes them Throwback Thursday material. And I had to go for Goldfinch Glimpses because I've been feeling in an almost annoyingly alliterative mood lately. 😊
Oh, and don't miss the post Melinda did this week for her very creative Feathered Friday--Bird houses. She did an awesome job changing things up a bit, and shows how easy it is to participate in this tag!

It amazes me how expressive birds truly are, and how often they seem to put on a show for the camera, @allyinspirit! And I agree - it's awesome that any day is a good day for a Feathered Friday! 😊

Aww, thanks for the compliments and the tip, @tattoodjay! Funny, at the time I remember saying some choice words when that finch took off (I wasn't going for an action shot...LOL), but I was pleasantly surprised with the result!

I just got back from a walk on the beach, I went at 5Am and finished at 7 it was only 82F but 95% humidity and I felt the heater then, plan to stay inside and cool for the rest of the day
