Story Of Homeless Children In Bangladesh: A life of abstruseness

This is my first article on Child Protection Agencies(CPA). I would like to thanks, those peoples who started this great initiative. Special thanks to @familyprotection team and those writers who are continuously writing and presenting their stories on CPA.

As a Bangladeshi, I am going to share the Story Of Homeless Children In Bangladesh.

The common description of homeless or street child is a kid who lives on the road, in specific characterization, Homeless Children is the child who lives on the street because he or she does not have a home to live. Homelessness, is one of the foremost problems in Bangladesh, like others 3rd world counters of the world.

Bangladesh is now suffering an intensification in the amount and percentage of homeless children existing on the streets and in public places owing to the growing burdens of inner relocation and quick suburbanization.

They are detectable by day and indetectable by night. In the course of the day they ascent to alive with the rest of us. It is difficult to evaluate precisely how many homeless children there are in whole, according to “Bangladesh Institute of Development Studies”, The number of homeless children lives in Bangladesh approximately 679,728, and 55 percent of them live in Dhaka city.

Problems:

➡️Rejection of rights and mistreatment:

Homeless Children are mainly susceptible to mishandling and exploitation. Even when these children living with their families, deficiency and a lack of facilities mean that most paternities are not in a situation to deliver suitable care. Children flourish on the sidelines of society without suitable housing, protection, schooling, medical care, diet, drinking water, safety, regeneration, and direction.

➡️Psycho-social problems:

The suffering and abuse of life on the roads, many children agonize psycho-social illnesses. For the reason of their stressful familiarities, they frequently become hesitant and suspicious, making it challenging for facility providers to assist them.

➡️Meagre child-safety mechanisms:

Though Bangladesh has ratified Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC), there have no strong legal framework or mechanism for protection of the child. Bangladesh has enacted child Act 2013 but still, there is no practical implementation.

Lastly, we have to realize that the children of nowadays are the hope of tomorrow. The homeless child also our future. For the shortage of proper care and holes in safeguarding their basic needs, the street children are suffering a countless deal. So we should do all we can to safeguard their rights.

I want to request to whole steemit community let's stand for them, let's try to give shelter at least one Homeless Children. Let's work together, let's make our world better and better for our future generation.
