The statistics for English speaking countries are not directly comparable but common tendencies within countries can be identified. According to the latest data available, it shows increases in child protection investigations. The figures as follows:
The United States - between 2007 - 2015: 17% (8 years)
Canada - between 1998 - 2008: 74% (10 years)
Australia - 2012 to 2016: 42% (4 years)
England - between 2008 - 2017: 124% (more than doubled in 9 years!)

What is not surprising that in all these countries investigations became less likely to actually find abuse.
In England there was a fall between 2008 and 2017 from 44% to 36% of investigations finding harm and requiring what’s known as a “child protection plan”. On average in England in 2017 an investigation not leading to a protection plan started every four minutes and 40 seconds.
In the USA, according to federal data, some 83% of all such investigations ultimately prove unfounded or unsubstantiated. That’s roughly 7 out of every 8!
If you still think that only a small minority of children are involved in Child Protection Services, then you need a wake-up call!
Recent figures are that in The United States 37% of children are investigated before the age of 18 years. Studies in Australia and New Zealand the figure is about 25% of children are investigated before the age of 18 years.
There is also a proven higher incidence of child protection investigations for minority groups. More than 50% of African-American children were investigated and similar rates also apply to Aboriginal children in Australia and New Zealand.
In all countries, there has been a shift from family support in favour of removing a child from the family and to be put in foster care or to be adopted out.
This trend should be fought against and governments must revert back to preserve the family at all costs.
Whatever the cause, these changes have created a deteriorated environment for families in deprived communities who face more stress, less support and the highest ever risk of being accused of abusing their child and then losing them to care or adoption.

So what is H.R.6233 all about?
It is a new bill that is newly introduced in the U.S. House by the representative, Gwen Moore (D-WI). This legislation would "amend the Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act (CAPTA)" to ensure that Child Protective Services would no longer be allowed to separate children from their parents on the basis of poverty. This amendment is supported by the bipartisan parental rights coalition of which ParentalRights.org is proudly part of.

Any idea what the odds of passage are? We definitely need to somehow undo all of this intrusive behavior that has anything but the child's best interest at heart.
I have no idea @practicalthought. Parentalrights.org said the first Amendment can take long, but also made a post a while back that they now have 21 co-sponsors in government so they are working hard at it. The HR.6233 seems that it might be passed sooner.
There is at least hope of something been done!
@hope777, Children stay in the phase where they don't know what is right and what is wrong for them, and in which house problems are not there, that doesn't mean that parents are wrong excluding few.
So, in my opinion this is sounding as an Conspiracy and behind the scene something else is going on, so people should get awake soon because if today one parent face this then who knows tomorrow your door can get knocked.
Unfortunate thing is we don't want to see something until we face it and if this is the case soon everything will get slipped from the hands of common people and they will be controlled so effectively that, then there would be no difference between the Machines and Humans.
