Ecclesiastes 11
8 You should enjoy the things that you do each day. You should do that even if you live to a very old age. You may live for many years but, in the end, you will die. And you will be dead for a very long time. There is nothing that means anything after that.

9 Enjoy your life while you are young. Do the things that you want to do. The things that you see will give you pleasure, too. But God watches the things that you do. You should remember that. He will want to know why you did those things.

10 Do not think about the good things that you do not have. And do not do things that cause pain in your body. You cannot always be young. We all become old.

Great families are playful.
It is the common denominator of great families! Family knows how to play. Family know how to have fun. Family enjoy life together. Sometimes, this is the missing and most commonly neglected ingredient in so many families in todays generation. Today, many families are too busy [wprk, business, gadgets, travels, etc.,], too tired [exhausted, frustrated], too negative, too worn out and too serious in their lives.

If I were to ask you, do you want to come homr from where you are in work or in school to that kind of home?

Families should be fun.

The Bible actually talks and commands about it in verse 8, "People ought to enjoy every day of their lives, no matter how long they live"

Why do you think is it important for us to enjoy every day? It is for a reason that we don't know hoe long we're going to live. We don't know if we've got next week or next month. We don't even know if we've got tomorrow. So whatever living we're going to do, we better do it today.

When my nephews were growing up, I determined that the number one thing they wanted to know about a family we have was not that we were good enough or intelligent. We wanted them to know that they were loved and that we are happy together.
