I want to inspire and encourage more positive vibes on Steemit. Comedy is one approach I'm taking, and this series is my second.

Here's Your Daily Dose Of Faith In Humanity & Good Karma!

[Remembering Heroes] I suspect that many of us mainly look forward to holidays for the time off of work. Perhaps some could use a reminder that much of today's "norm" was envisioned and battled for by leaders who made great sacrifices. These leaders came in many forms; those who created change, and those who protected people from it.

The world is ever-changing because of brave champions who fight for what is right. These are true leaders. People didn't "follow" them for their "content". They followed them to be a part of their movement. While much of today's commercial and social media is divisive in nature, take a moment to appreciate that the friendship seen below wasn't always possible, and why. I bet that both Mothers are quite proud of their children seeing the bigger picture.

[Sharing An Experience] A man was taking a taxi to a theme park and learned that his driver had never been to one before. Instead of telling him that he should go sometime, he invited him to join and paid for his admission. Instead of imaginary walls, excuses, or stereotypes, there was kindness, compassion, and generosity. I think it's safe to say that most of us wouldn't ever think of doing this, but maybe the right seed has been planted to make your own story and new friend.

[Priorities In Order] Many people might think it's absolutely preposterous to allow stray dogs to sleep on cafe seats on cold nights. How disgusting! This is dining establishment!! Ughhh!!

I personally think it's amazing and would love to give this place business to help pay for the heat. On top of that, I wouldn't mind if the dogs were in the shop while I was there. If customers were that turned off by this, or understandably allergic, there are plenty of other cafes for them. If more people would simply put their personal phobias and judgement aside, to focus on valuing and respecting the lives of all beings, the world would be a far better place.

[Take Action To Help] This is brilliant. A van was outfitted with a portable washing machine and dryer to help homeless people clean their clothes. Soak that in for a minute and realize how amazing that is, and how many different ways that can significantly help people in need.

While this may be cost prohibitive for many, nearly everyone can afford to give homeless people clean clothes. Donations to thrift stores are convenient, and get a tax write-off, but try walking up to a homeless person to give them immediate support, comfort, and care, and tell me it didn't feel good. When you see their faces struggle between shock and joy, you'll know what it's all about and want to do it again...
