Picture taken from Goggle-:

Honeybees lives in colonies with one queen running with one queen running the whole hive. Worker honeybees are all females and are the only bees most people never see flying around outside to hive. Honeybees are important pollinators for flowers, fruits, and vegetables. They are social and cooperative insects. Male bees are called drones - the third class of honeybee. The queen's job is simple she lays eggs that will Spawn the hive's next generation of bees. There is usually only a single queen in a hive.

Oo, now I get where the name 'drone' was gotten from. I just wonder why it's always the females that do the job in some of the insect kingdoms, for Eva pls it's the anopheles mosquito(female mosquito) that sucks blood and transmits malaria. Thank God it's not so with humans, our women have to be pampered and not turned to working jackals. Great post.
